In young humans, the epigenetic connection of the orgasmic circuit begin to fuse effectively around age 2 or 3. The normal mechanism for activation of this circuit is handling and fondling of the external sexual organs, as inevitably and innocently practiced by children as they explore their body. Little boys, with their projecting penis, have an advantage in this respect. They have been observed masturbating in the womb. Little girls, however, fondle the clitoris during infancy, and their orgasmic circuit becomes functional aound 6 or 7 years of age. Consequently, masturbation in late childhood and adolescence, even when it is not regular, continues to involve the clitoris and trains the functional pathways of the reflex circuit. Certainly, there exist other feminine methods of reaching solitary orgasm. Thigh rubbing exercises the pelvic musculature, the anal elevator muscles. and the perineal muscles. Although thigh rubbing can be considered a "trial run" of the orgasmic physiology of the lower vagina, it is not efffective until after the establishment of the orgasmic reflex by clitoral stimulation.
It is only in the second decade of life that human females attain genital development sufficient to engage in copulation. Although they are not exactly of the same type as those of the clitoris, the vagina possesses orgasmogenic erogenous receptors which permit the triggering of the orgasmic reflex after a time of coital practice. This is possible only of the orgasmic circuit has been established and has become functional. For many females, self-induced clitoral orgasm is a necessary preliminary for attaining vaginal orgasm.
It should be acknowledged that the complete branching of the reflex connections of orgasm can only be established during the crucial period of early childhood. Likewise, this is the same crucial period of life for the development of language skills. After that, it is too late. The physiology of the orgasmic reflex must therefore be established in the first years of life, before 6 or 7 years of age. It will later be reactivated by functional stimulation. Otherwise, it will fall into disuse. This is the classic mechanism whereby under-utilized nervous circuits wither and degenerate. Gerard Zwang: Functional and erotic consequences of sexual mutilations in "Sexual mutilations: a human tragedy", New York, 1997
Dr Halat's comment:
The Zwang's ideas regarding female orgasm, although highlighting the importance of clitoris, are far from reality, because:
(a) the clitoris is the only source of female orgasm both in virgins and ex-virgins, and not prior to first coitus only;
(b) activating the orgasmic circuit during childhood as a precondition of the ability to climax later in life does not make any sense in the light of a fact that persons who were spared from loss of childhood innocence, were not exposed to threats of premature sexualization and their 'neural reflex circuit' was not active during childhood still can easily achieve their first orgasm by simple rubbing the clitoris in a circular motion when sexual urges naturally appear any time in adolescence or adulthood.
(c) both genital mutilation and premature sexualization induced by paedophiliacs are human tragedies.
The private sexual maturing phenomena, should remain private, unwitnessed, and never discussed broadly if noticed (and causing concern). An unwise reaction of a loving parent / devoted carer to normal sexual behaviours in children and adolescents may result in severe psychophysical disorders and impaired adult sexuality. Beware of paedophiles interfering with children's development. Beware of all sexual deviants interfering with adolescent development.
El canal del parto está diseñado para la procreación conyugal.
El clítoris está diseñado para la satisfacción sexual.
The birth canal is designed for marital procreation. The clitoris is designed for sexual satisfaction.
The birth canal includes the cervix and the vagina. They are the organs through which the unborn child passes at birth.
Clitoral stimulation versus clitoral amputation: Humanity's collective experience in the light of the extreme differences in treatment of the female body
Clitoral partial or total amputation and clitoral constant stimulation clearly illustrate two diametrically opposed approaches to the female person which has been designed no less perfectly well than the male one. While female genital mutilation sparks outrage all over the world, the opposite experience of the Homo sapiens secluded communities which form happy families, is almost completely unknown to those in need of unbiased information.
Uluri Clitoral String of the Xingu for constant stimulation. In his "Travel accounts and results of the second Schingú Expedition 1887-1888" a German physician, dr Karl von den Steinen proved that the Bismarckian science did not recognize the existence of the clitoral stimulation. He perfectly described all parts of the uluri, not mentioning what a girl or a woman could feel having vertical cord fixed well. While keeping the mucosa behind the labia is hardly possible during a walk etc., the pressure exerted by the tightened string running from front to back provides rubbing the clitoris with its unavoidable consequences for a girl, a wife as well as for her husband. Regular use of uluri starts during the rituals of female puberty, ending (a several months to two years after menarche) period of isolation and marked by the cutting of the girl's bangs. It's noteworthy that according to Thomas Gregor: <<From the men’s point of view, it [an uluri] is also a titillating symbol of female sexuality. An old woman should not even wear one, since her vagina has “closed up”. A young woman wearing an uluri, on the other hand, is regarded as sexually provocative. In fact, the purpose of the garment is to make her beautiful. The cord passing between her legs holds down her clitoris (itsi kiri, litterally, the vagina’s nose) and at the same time focuses attention to the genitalia in a way men find irresistible.>> The Mehinaku: The Drama of Daily Life in a Brazilian Indian Village by Thomas Gregor - 1977
<< ...the clitoris (itsi kiri) is the "vagina's nose." In the manner of the hunter of monkeys who sniffs the air in pursuit of his quarry, the clitoris is said to move about, "searching for its food". The entire vagina is symbolically identified as a mouth...When masculine charms and importuning are insufficient, the men turn to gifts and verbal coercion to obtain sexual services. The imbalance of gratification and desire is percived by the [Mehinaku] villagers as a powerful force. Men are assumed to be perpetually sexual. There is no such thing as a "professional" or platonic relationship between male and female. Their interaction is charged with potential sexuality. unless it is explicitly ruled out by the incest taboo.>> Anxious Pleasures: The Sexual Lives of an Amazonian People by Thomas Gregor - 1987
